"RAW DEAL" RC ROCK CRAWLIN COMPETITION

This Sunday, December 5, 2010, we will be having our r/c crawling competition out at Table Mesa Road. The trail Raw Deal has a really challenging section that we will be competing on. All classes are welcome. A points / time system will be used. Entry fee is $15.00. $10.00 of that goes inot the "pot" for cash prizes. TABLE MESA RD, EXIT 236 OFF I-17 Warehouse 3 Hobby Shop Once you get onto Table Mesa Road, go to the west side of I-17. Road turns to dirt, follow our signs, approximently 7.5 miles to Crawling site. We have a very challenging area, some walking is required. Bring your shade, drinks & snacks. No glass of any kind please. Entry fee is $15.00 per entry (cash only), $10.00 of your entry fee goes towards the case prizes. Classes for all crawlers, we are very accomodating and will form classes for the crawlers that enter. Standard crawling rules apply, points/time. Our crawling events are always a friendly, fun event, we treat everyone with respect, and make sure everyone has a great time. RACE SCHEDULE & FEES

As of 10-1-2010 our race schedule is as follows:
Wednesday: Open at 10:00am, driver sign-ups 6:00 - 6:45, Racing starts at 7:00.
Friday: Open at 10:00am, driver sign-ups 6:00 - 6:45, Racing starts at 7:00.
Practice is free on Wed. & Fri. with paid race entry fee.

Race fees: Members are $10.00 1st entry, $2.00 each additional entry.

Non-Members are $12.00 1st entry, $3.00 each additional entry.

Practice fees: You can practice any day we are open for $3.00 per hour, or $10.00 for the day.
Always a good idea to call before you come to practice, just to make sure I'm not "maintaining" the track. It's usually open and ready to go.

WED, NITE POINT SERIES 10-6-2010

Our Wednesday nite points series has begun. It'll run 6 weeks, you must participate in 4 of the 6 races.
We give 2 "throw away" races, so if you can't make it, break, or just fall out of your "zone", you'll still be alright.
I'll be posting the standings as we race, so keep an eye on it.

ABOUT THE TRACK

We are the THIRD indoor dirt oval track in the state.
Centrally located at 19th ave Peoria, it's a perfect place to get your "racing fix".
I brought in 140 tons of dirt & clay.
I banked the turns 14 degrees, and the straights are at 6-7 degrees. The driveline is 128 feet. A little small but nearly true to scale. It's a fast track, gotta be able to drive 'cause things happen quickly. Lanes are 8 feet wide in the straights and a bit wider in the turns.
I maintain this track very well, fixing potholes as the develop. It's very smooth, even for the mini 1/18's.
Inside the oval I have a nice, technical off road course. 2 big sweepers, 2 straights with jumps and whoopers. I change the off road course often, every other week or so. I do not want anyone to get bored with it, or to be able to "dominate" week after week. My regular off road guys like that it changes, and look forward to something new each time.
Same rule apply here that you find at other tracks, race, then give me a few minutes and marshall the next race.
Watch your language, we have women & children at times, and we want everyone to feel comfy.
I will not put up with any "fights" during racing. I do my best to "nip it in the bud", and you will be asked to leave for the nite. Hey, we're playing with toy cars here.
Our indoor pits are first come firstserved. You can rent them for the month if you like.

GREAT RACING

You want some great racing don't you?
That's what we provide here at WAREHOUSE 3.
Regardless of your skill level, you will feel "right at home" when you're racing in our indoor track. No need to feel "intimidated" like the other tracks make you feel.
Don't get me wrong, we do have really good, competitive races, and some really good drivers. But we have many classes to race in, and will put you up against racers you can be competetive with.
I've had "new" racers come down, and after one day the said: "I feel like I've been coming here foe years, I feel right at home". That's how you'll feel too, I guarentee it.
Come down and try it out, You'll love the competition and "laid back" atmosphere.
